This afternoon, RTVE hosted a press event in Madrid to reveal which artists will be competing in the fifth edition of Benidorm Fest. Over 870 submissions were received but ultimately only 18 artists were selected.

Six songs have also been reserved in case any of the artists above need to withdraw from the contest.
Benidorm Fest 2026 will return with its familiar format of two semi-finals, scheduled for February 10 and 12. The grand final, featuring 8 of the 18 competing acts will take place on February 14. This year’s edition introduces a redesigned staged inspired by the iconic Balcón del Mediterráneo, along with several updates to the show’s format.
The last edition of Benidorm Fest was won by Melody with her song “Esa Diva”. Melody went on to represent Spain at the 69th edition of Eurovision hosted in Basel, Switzerland. Due to Spain being part of the Big 5, Spain automatically qualifies to the grand final of Eurovision, where they placed 24th overall.
