It may be Valentine’s Day but it has also been super Saturday for us Eurovision fans.
Tonight, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia hosted their preselections to determine who will represent their respective country at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. Also, heat 3 of Melodifestivalen took place where two more acts advanced to the grand final of Melodifestivalen, which will take on March 7th.
Denmark – Dansk Melodi Grand Prix
Eight acts competed in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026. A combination of jury and public vote decided which three acts will advance to the super-final.
Super-finalists:
- Søren Torpegaard Lund – “Før vi går hjem”
- Sissal – “Infinity”
- Ericka Jane – “Death of Me”
The top three performed again, the winner was decided once again by a combination of jury and televote.

Estonia – Eesti Laul
Eesti Laul took place at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn, Estonia. Twelve acts competed for the chance to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest. A combination of jury votes and televote decided which three acts would advance to the super-final.

- Vanilla Ninja – “Too Epic To Be True”
The voting reopened and the winner was determined by 100% televote.

Latvia – Supernova 2026
Supernova 2026 consisted of two semi-finals where five acts advanced from each show. The final included 10 acts, the winner was determined by a combination of jury votes and public voting.

Sweden – Melodifestivalen Heat 3
Heat 3 of Melodifestivalen 2026 took place at the Kristianstad Arena in Kristianstad. Six acts competed, only two could advance directly to the grand final. Medina with their song “Viva L’Amor” won the first round of voting, earning themselves a spot in the final of Melodifestivalen 2026.
The voting reopen to determine who will earn the second sport in the live final.

This means that Saga Ludvigsson has earned her ticket to the final of Melodifestivalen 2026. Eva Jumatate will compete in the Final Qualification Round on February 28th.
