This afternoon, Carlo Conti revealed the thirty big artists that will compete in Festival di Sanremo 2026. The announcement was revealed on Rai 1, the participants competing are:

The complete lineup includes a variety of familiar faces and newcomers to the competition. A familiar face in the line up is Ermal Meta who represented Italy at Eurovision in 2018 alongside Fabrizio Moro where they placed 5th in the Grand Final.
The winner of Festival di Sanremo will receive the offer to fly the flag for Italy at Eurovision 2026. However, the winner of the festival can decline the offer, it will then be offered to the runner-up. The festival will take place at Teatro Atiston in Sanremo, starting on Tuesday February 24th and will finish on Saturday February 28th.
Last year, Italy was represented by Lucio Corsi with his song “Volevo essere un duro”. He finished in 5th place in the Grand Final with a total of 256 points.
