Every vote counts – and for the winners, perhaps the most important journey of their musical lives will begin.”

Vienna Calling – Wer singt für Österreich? is scheduled to take place on Friday February 20th and will be broadcast live on ORF 1 and ORF ON. The winner will be decided by a combination of jury and public vote. There will be a lot of eyes watching the national final as the winner will be the host entry at Eurovision 2026.

Last year, Austria was represented by JJ with his song “Wasted Love” where he won Eurovision 2025 with a total of 436 points. This is Austria’s third victory at the Eurovision Song Contest, having previously won in 1966 and 2014.
