Melodifestivalen 2026 has officially begun! Heat one took place tonight at the Saab Arena in Linköping.
Tonight’s participants:
1 – Grezula – “Half of Me”
2 – Jacqline – “Woman”
3 – Noll2 – “Berusade Ord”
4 – Junior Lerin – “Copacabana Boy”
5 – Indra – “Beautiful Life”
6 – A*Teens – “Iconic”
Only two acts could directly advance to final , with third place advancing to the Final Qualification round.
Grezula with his song “Half of Me” won the first round of voting, earning himself the first spot in the final of Melodifestivalen 2026.
The second round of voting consisted of votes from 7 different age groups and a televote. The participant with the most points advanced to the final, which was A*Teens with their song “Iconic”.
Results:
1 – A*Teens – “Iconic” – 80pts
2 – Jacqline – “Woman” – 64pts
3 – Indra – “Beautiful Lie” – 42pts
4 – Noll2 – “Berusade Ord” – 41pts
5 – Junior Lerin – “Copacabana Boy” – 39pts
Out of the 4 remaining acts, Jacqline received the most votes from both rounds meaning that she will compete in the Final Qualification round. Giving her a second chance to earn a spot in the final of Melodifestivalen 2026.
