Last night Malta hosted their national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest, which took place at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. The contest consisted of a semi-final and grand final, all hosted by Destiny Chukunyere, Gaia Cauchi & Keane Cutajar.
12 songs competed in the live final, ultimately there could only be one winner and that was Aidan with his song “Bella”. The winner was decided by a 50% jury and 50% public vote. The jury was won by Aidan with 113 points and public vote was won by Matt Blxck with 200 points.

Aidan will perform in the second-half of the second semi-final on Thursday May 14th.
Last year, Malta was represented by Miriana Conte with her song Serving, where she placed 17th in the Grand Final with a total of 91 points.
