MESC 2026 participants revealed 🇲🇹

Maltese broadcaster, PBS has just revealed the eighteen participants for Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (MESC). The announcement took place in a reveal show that was broadcast on TVM and Facebook. Ten second snippets of the competing entries were also released.


MESC 2026 participants: 

⚪️ Aidan – “Bella”

🔴 Adria Twins – “Nerġà nqum”

⚪️ Chess Galea – “Shout it out”

🔴 Denise – “Trophy”

⚪️ Ema – “Achikuku (Don’t think about it)”

🔴 Franklin Calleja – “Guide you home”

⚪️Janice Mangion – “Univers”

🔴 Kelsey Attard – “Perfectly broken”

⚪️ Kelsie Borg – “Let a girl breathe”

🔴 Kurt Anthony – “On the borderline”

⚪️ Liston Bongailas – “Mela”

🔴 Mark Anthony Bartolo – “Mumenti sbieħ”

⚪️ Matt Blxck – “Ejja lejja ħdejja ‘l hawn (The flute)”

🔴 Matthew Cilia – “Brutality mentality”

⚪️ Mychael Bartolo Chircop – “My sweet angel”

🔴 Nathan Psaila – “Ganador”

⚪️ Rhiannon Micallef – “Hold myself up”

🔴 Stefan Gaela – “Pose”

 
Among the lineup includes some noticeable names such as MESC 2022 runner – up Aidan and MESC 2024 runner – up Matt Blxck. 
 
PBS will broadcast MESC semi – final on January 15th. All eighteen participants will compete where twelve artists will qualify for the final on January 17th. The finalists will be determined by a combination of jury and public votes. 

Last year, Malta was represented by Miriana Conte with her song “Serving”. Malta placed 17th in the grand final with a total of 91 points.
